A Scott Airpack leaning against the bumper of a Fire Truck at a working fire in Depew NY. The mask is over the air bottle in the traditional way to keep it clean and off the ground. This image was a 3 shot photo merged together with Photomatix, then enhanced with Topaz Labs photoFXlabs DeNoise, Clean, Remask, Detail and Simplify and the further enhanced with the Redfield's ATX plugin giving it a surreal look.
About Jim Lepard
Jim is an Award-Winning Professional Photographer from Western New York. Jim is a 11-time award winner at the Erie County Fair. He also currently does a lot of Photography for the Fire Service including the Photographer for the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, as well as several fire departments in the area. Also, a Freelance photographer for Firenews. He is also a Life member of the Lancaster Fire Department of Lancaster NY. Jim does not do a lot of fire chasing but if he is in the area he does make a effort to go to the scene and that some pictures for my brothers, when he is there he usually takes photos of the firefighters in action and also he is thinking about the shot that he can enhance to really make it stand out...
