Here lays on of the Grain Mills found along the Buffalo River in Buffalo NY. In 1896 Buffalo NY was the 4th busiest port in the world the 1890's were a very lively time in Buffalo.


This image was enhanced using Photoshop and the Topaz Labs photoFXlabs Detail and Black and White filters along with the Refields Fractalius Filters

Jim is an Award-Winning Professional Photographer from Western New York. Jim is a 11-time award winner at the Erie County Fair. He also currently does a lot of Photography for the Fire Service including the Photographer for the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, as well as several fire departments in the area. Also, a Freelance photographer for Firenews. He is also a Life member of the Lancaster Fire Department of Lancaster NY. Jim does not do a lot of fire chasing but if he is in the area he does make a effort to go to the scene and that some pictures for my brothers, when he is there he usually takes photos of the firefighters in action and also he is thinking about the shot that he can enhance to really make it stand out...
