The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The emblem representing American LaFrance the makers of Fire Apparatus since 1832. American LaFrance was founded in Elmira NY and is currently on of the oldest fire apparatus manufacturers in America. This image is from the front grill of a 2005 American LaFrance. This image was first done combining 8 images with Photomatix, then to Topazlabs Denoise, Detail and Adjust.
About Jim Lepard
Jim is an Award-Winning Professional Photographer from Western New York. Jim is a 11-time award winner at the Erie County Fair. He also currently does a lot of Photography for the Fire Service including the Photographer for the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, as well as several fire departments in the area. Also, a Freelance photographer for Firenews. He is also a Life member of the Lancaster Fire Department of Lancaster NY. Jim does not do a lot of fire chasing but if he is in the area he does make a effort to go to the scene and that some pictures for my brothers, when he is there he usually takes photos of the firefighters in action and also he is thinking about the shot that he can enhance to really make it stand out...
