This is an image along the Main Street in Ellicottville which is a small village located in Cattaraugus County New York with a population of just over 300. Ellicottville is best know for its ski resorts and it is a party town.
This images was enhanced with Photomatix combing three images and then further enhanced using the Topaz Labs photoFXlabs with the Adjust 5, Detail and remask plugins.
About Jim Lepard
Jim is an Award-Winning Professional Photographer from Western New York. Jim is a 11-time award winner at the Erie County Fair. He also currently does a lot of Photography for the Fire Service including the Photographer for the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, as well as several fire departments in the area. Also, a Freelance photographer for Firenews. He is also a Life member of the Lancaster Fire Department of Lancaster NY. Jim does not do a lot of fire chasing but if he is in the area he does make a effort to go to the scene and that some pictures for my brothers, when he is there he usually takes photos of the firefighters in action and also he is thinking about the shot that he can enhance to really make it stand out...

What a nice shot!! I like how you have composed this. The eye is drawn along the street by setting everything on an angle. And the light and shadows, along with the cloudy sky give it life. Well done!!
