Artist's Description
This image was taken on the American Side of the Falls looking over toward Luna Island. It was shot at dusk on a cold January Evening and the mist and the mist combined with the cold temperatures leave a coating on everything it lands on. This image was shot using a neutral density filter to give the image a milky feeling and then enhanced with Topaz Labs photoFXlabs DeNoise, Adjust 4 &5, Clean and the Detail plugin.
About Jim Lepard
Jim is an Award-Winning Professional Photographer from Western New York. Jim is a 11-time award winner at the Erie County Fair. He also currently does a lot of Photography for the Fire Service including the Photographer for the Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, as well as several fire departments in the area. Also, a Freelance photographer for Firenews. He is also a Life member of the Lancaster Fire Department of Lancaster NY. Jim does not do a lot of fire chasing but if he is in the area he does make a effort to go to the scene and that some pictures for my brothers, when he is there he usually takes photos of the firefighters in action and also he is thinking about the shot that he can enhance to really make it stand out...
